Final Fantasy 8 Squall Name: Squall
Age: 17
Height: 5'8
Weapon: Gun Blade
Profile: Squall is the main leading character in the game, he is cool and unemotional guy from outside, but he is actually a friendly and dependable combatant to be with. He wield a weapon called gunblade. The game start off with a scene showing him and Seifer fighting. He was injured by Seifer and fainted. Then later waking up inside the ward of Balamb Garden and a series of events followed up. In the later part of the game, he met Rinao, a member of a rebel group against the Galbadian president during a mission and fell in love with her.

Final Fantasy 8 Rinoa Name: Rino
Age: 17
Height: 5'3 1/2
Weapon: Flying blade
Profile: Rinao is the female leading character in the game. She is a member of the rebel group that was against the Galbadian president, known as the Forest Owls. During a mission, she met Squall and fell in love with him. Together with Squall and other characters, she start off a mission to stop the evil plan of Edea and Ultimecia.

Final Fantasy 8 Quistis Name: Quistis
Age: 18
Height: 5'6
Weapon: Whip
Profile: Quistis is the first character that Squall met in the game when he woke up in the ward. She is a young and beautiful SeeD instructor at Balamb Garden. Her weapon is a chain whip. Thought a "senior" character meaning appeared earlier in the game, her limit breaks is not very powerful compare to other characters. According to some players reviews, they claimed that Quistis actually has interest in Squall, but throughout the game, there is no special relationship between them, just that in the early part of the game, Quistis was Squall instructor and interact a lot with Squall.

Final Fantasy 8 Zell Name: Zell
Age: 17
Height: 5'5
Weapon: Fist
Profile: Zell is a member of Balamb Garden. He is the fourth character Squall met in the game when they are on way to a mission, he was called up by Quistis to join in the mission with Squall and Seifer. Zell played the energetic role in the game, he is always behave and talks the positive ways, he is always up to accept any challenge. He uses his fist as weapons.

Final Fantasy 8 selphie Name: Selphie
Age: 17
Height: 5'1 1/2
Weapon: Nonchaku
Profile: Selphie is a member of a garden called Trabia Garden but was in Balamb Garden to help up, she is a very cheerful and "cute" girl in the game, always trying to cheer other up when situation is bad. She uses a nonchaku (a pair of chained stick) as weapon. She met Squall in balamb Garden when running a festival and bring Squall to a tour around the garden.

Final Fantasy 8 Irvine Name: Irvine
Age: 17
Height: 6'0
Weapon: Gun
Profile: Irvine is from Galbadia Garden, he uses a gun and is a sharp shooter in the game. He joined Squall group on a mission to kill the President. He is a girls' lover, not that all girls like him, just that he is good with girls. But in one of the scene when he is about to shoot the President, he hesitated and eventually failed the mission. His limit breaks was quite a cool and expensive one, because you need to get bullets for him to use, with the right bullets, he can do pretty much damage to the enemy.

Final Fantasy 8 Eden Name: Edea

Height: ??
Weapon: Magic
Profile: Edea played the bad guy role in the beginning of the game, but at the end she became relief from procession and changed back to normal. Edea appeared as a sorceress working with President Deling. She was processed by Ultimecia, the ultimate enemy in the game. Ultimecia's aim is to release himself from the seal and destroy the world. She became a playable character in the later part of the game for a short while.

Final Fantasy 8 Seifer Name: Seifer
Age: 18
Height: 6'2
Weapon: Gun Blade
Profile: Seifer is also a member of the garden same as Squall, but he is senior. He is the leader of a Disciplinary committee at the Garden, often accompanied by Raijin and Fujin. In the middle of the game, he became the bad guy and served Edea because he's eager need of more power and recognition. But eventually he came to aid Squall in the later part of the game.
